With BetterMe Productions, I worked as a production assistant on professional shoots, supporting crew members and helping productions run smoothly.
My responsibilities included assisting with gear, setting up and breaking down equipment, supporting talent and clients, running errands, and helping with general on-set needs. This experience gave me a stronger understanding of professional production environments and the pace, organization, and communication required on set.
At The Agency at UF, I worked on the production team creating video content for real clients. My work included pre-production, production, and post-production across branded and campaign-based projects.
I contributed to shot lists, mood boards, creative planning, camera operation, on-set production, and editing. This experience helped me understand how to create video work that serves a client’s brand, goals, and audience while still maintaining a strong creative approach.
Through UF’s Narrative Collaborative Filmmaking program and other student productions, I gained experience working across multiple roles on short films, pilots, and narrative projects.
Working in these different positions helped me understand how each department contributes to a production and how communication, preparation, and collaboration shape a successful set.
