Hey, I’m Sammy Courtney. I’m an aspiring filmmaker, actor, and writer who throws myself fully into every project I take on. Whether I’m behind the camera directing, in front of it performing, or sitting down to write, I’m fueled by creativity and the thrill of bringing stories to life. I don’t want to be the “next Tarantino or Spielberg”—I’m carving my own path as the first Sammy Courtney.

At the University of Florida, I’m studying Media Production, Management & Technology with a focus in Digital Film and TV Production, and an English minor to sharpen my storytelling. Outside of class, I’ve directed and acted in short films, collaborated with student agencies, and even built a TikTok presence of over 90K followers experimenting with comedy and filmmaking. Every experience has been another step toward shaping the artist—and professional—I want to become.
